If good coffee puts a smile on your face and a little inspiration in your heart…and Gold Feather believes it can, then we want to help you achieve that with every cup. You may have noticed that we take the time to stamp the roast date on each and every bag with a signed seal of approval from the roaster.

When we put our name on something you can trust there is thought, care, and intention behind it. Being straightforward about when your coffee was roasted is vital for letting you know the coffee you receive is fresh and still full of flavor and aroma.

We recommend using coffee within 20 days after it is roasted. After this time some of the complex flavors tend to start fading, but we also like to say let your taste buds guide you. There are no rules, but there are a few things that can help prolong the life of your coffee and proper storage is essential! The enemies of coffee are air, heat, light and moisture.

Air being enemy number one! Most food storage containers are “airtight”, which means they lock air in with the contents. The Airscape® canister pushes out excess air, extending the life of your coffee or any other perishable dry goods as well as protect the coffee from moisture and direct light.

All canisters come with our airplane logo on one side and our “Roasted in Port Angeles” feather design on the other side in matte white. They are stain free, BPA free, durable and food safe. We hope you enjoy these canisters as much as we do!
